Cobb County Superior Court Clerk

Due to changes with mail delivery/pickup times between the United States Postal Service and the County’s Mail Room, please make sure to send your documents well in advance of any potential deadlines. Also, please make sure to avoid e-filing late in the afternoon on the day of your deadline. The Cobb Superior Court Clerk’s Office makes every attempt to process filings timely and efficiently but we cannot be accountable for issues out of our control.

The Real Estate Department provides a variety of services to the public including; recording all Cobb County real estate deeds, plats, condominium floor plans, UCC filings, general execution docket and lien filings, Military Discharge, trade names, and partnerships.

Location and Mailing Address

The Real estate filing counter is located on the 2nd floor of 10 East Park Square, Building C; next to the State Court Building. Our deed room is located on the 1st floor .

Recording Counter is located on the main level of our building. All documents, including plats, maps, and condominium floorplans are filed here.

Deed Room Counter is located on the bottom level of our building, 1st floor. All recorded documents pertaining to property such as a deed, plat or legal description of your property are found here.

The Clerk of Superior Court and the Deputy Clerks are committed to providing you with superior customer service. We will be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have about the services of this office or the procedures you must follow to file. Please be advised, however, that state law prohibits our staff from rendering legal advice, restating the law or recommending specific ways to pursue legal action (OCGA §15-19-51).
